150 lb of plov cooked fresh every morning — it's usually gone in about two hours. Lagman pulled by hand, samsa out of the tandoor. Come hungry.
What we cook
Plov layered in the kazan. Noodles pulled by hand. Samsa baked in the tandoor. Nothing out of a freezer bag — this is the food the family cooks at home, served on Bustleton Ave.
Ways to eat
Platters built for four to six, kebabs off the coals, bread straight out of the tandoor.

The kazan goes on early. Rice, lamb, carrots and chickpeas layered the Samarkand way, then left to cook for hours — no shortcuts, no reheating, no portioning it out over three days.
The kitchen says it usually runs out about two hours after it's ready. Come around noon.
What people say
The lula kabobs are probably the best in the city. Lagman was really good and their bread is super soft and fluffy.
Some of the best Uzbek cuisine in northeast Philly. The food was great, the prices are phenomenal.
Lamb so tender it falls apart. For real, this food slaps.
Unmatched food quality, especially the plov — come early at noon, they run out fast.
